Venkat Ramana Rao: Championing India’s Voice in Global Security Reforms

Mr. Venkat Ramana Rao Adoni, a distinguished Cyber Security and Forensic Analyst from VT Colony, Nalgonda, has emerged as a strong advocate for international peace and reform of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC). With a Master’s in Information Technology, a certification as a Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator from EC-Council, and a Diploma in Police Sciences, Mr. Venkat brings exceptional expertise. His contributions span cybersecurity, forensic analysis, and global governance.

He has been actively involved in international initiatives, including serving as an International Election Observer for the European Union and monitoring elections in Nepal. Mr. Venkat’s efforts also extend to crime prevention and upholding international justice under the UN framework.   In 2015, he represented India as a panelist at The Hague Institute for Global Justice, advocating UNSC reforms and India’s permanent membership. His speeches highlighted India’s growing role in peacekeeping and security.He continues to raise awareness on global diplomacy, including through his publication “When and How It Can Be Done”, released in January 2025 by PassBlue. Proposal for International Cyber Crime Prevention Day by Venkat Ramana Rao

Mr. Venkat Ramana Rao Adoni, a Cyber Crime and Forensic Analyst from VT Colony, Nalgonda, and a Consultant and member of the Academic Council on the United Nations System, has made a significant international proposal — the establishment of an International Cyber Crime Prevention Day to the United Nations.

During a media interaction in Nalgonda, Mr. Venkat explained that the proposal was acknowledged and verified by the United Nations Office of the General Assembly. He was advised to submit the proposal through appropriate government channels in accordance with UN General Assembly Resolution 61/185 (20th December 2006), which outlines the procedures and guidelines for the consideration of international observance days.

In line with these guidelines, Mr. Venkat formally requested the UN Academic Council to recognize and endorse the observance of International Cyber Crime Prevention Day. The UN General Assembly Office has acknowledged the request and advised steps for further consideration.

As a former panelist at the Hague Institute for Global Justice, Mr. Venkat has previously presented a paper titled “United Nations at 70”, highlighting his long-standing commitment to global peace, cybersecurity, and international diplomacy.

Through this initiative, Mr. Venkat continues to lead impactful efforts to enhance global awareness and action against cybercrime, positioning India as a proactive contributor to digital safety and international cooperation.

సైబర్ నేరాల నివారణ, సురక్షిత సైబర్ ప్రపంచం ఏర్పాటుకు ముందడుగు వేసిన నల్గొండకు చెందిన వెంకటరమణరావు గారు, అంతర్జాతీయ స్థాయిలో గుర్తింపు పొందారు. ఐక్యరాజ్యసమితి అకాడమిక్ కౌన్సిల్ సభ్యునిగా ఉన్న ఆయన, సైబర్ నేరాలపై అవగాహన పెంచడానికి “సైబర్ నేరాల నివారణ దినోత్సవం” ప్రకటించాలని ప్రతిపాదించారు.

ఈ ప్రతిపాదనకు కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం నుండి అనుమతులు పొందేందుకు కూడా ప్రయత్నాలు చేస్తున్నారు. జిల్లా అభివృద్ధికి, సామాజిక అవగాహనకు ఆయన చేస్తున్న కృషి ప్రశంసనీయమైనది.
